Hello @kyiroval, you can use any database, as long as you provide endpoints to refine. refine is a frontend framework, as long as you provide a http server endpoints, refine doesn't care which db you are using.

how could I get better at these and learn the solutions to frontend and backend connections, the document seems to support only supported references.

Hello @kyiroval you may consider some tools like supabase to handle data side for you. We already hvae supabase integration. With supabase, you can easily create your data server and connect it to refine

I would love to if I wasnt required to use refine with mongodb
